This problem has just recently shown up. SFL is reporting locations that the phone used to be at, but is no longer there. I have suspected this has been happening for about a week now, as the service would report the phone at the same location several times - but it just didn't make any sense that the phone was still there. The issue was confirmed today, when I checked the location of one of my phones, and it reported the location at my child's work. Later, it showed that my child was well on their way home. Later, when my child hadn't arrived at home, I checked the location again, and it was reported that they were back at work. That would certainly have been outside of normal behavior, so to make sure this was accurate, I re-checked the location and it was reported that the phone was 30 miles away from the last location was reported - which would have been physically impossible given the 2 minutes lapse in time.

I can understand that I can't always expect exact locations, but reporting a current location as a place the phone USED to be at is utterly worthless.

Has anyone else experienced this, and is there something I can do to fix it? Or, is this just a problem with Sprint's system?

Thanks.

Your problem sounds frustrating and not at all how our product is supposed to work. Please fill out a trouble ticket so that our technicians can further assist you and help you with this problem.

Thank you for your help. Is there a link to the trouble ticket location, or can you give me the address for it? I'm not sure where it's located. Thanks.
